Jaw dropping Java

PREFACE: A platform-independent language was needed wherein it could take in the program code that could be run on any platform. Alternately, on any kind of operating system. That led to the origin of Java. Infact, people in this field are not new to Java as the concepts like

  1. Abstraction,

2.Encapsulation,

  1. Inheritance, and

  2. Polymorphism

were already been dealt in another powerful language C++.

So, what else and new Java could offer? Initially, Java is termed as Oak as the developer who developed this language used to observe an oak tree from his window daily.

Coming to the point, Java offers portability along with improved GUI features. For example, Applets in Java are small browser applications which are so flexible to run. As such concepts like Servlets, Beans, RMI and JMS are some of the features of Java that are incorporated within.

RMI is the process of invoking a method that is at a remote terminal using Java technology with the security features of that certain application/s intact. Internet evolution is another feather in Java’s cap. It is no surprise to ensure that there is no internet without Java as they both go hand-in-hand.

Java can be readily connected with the traditional as well as contemporary databases such as MS-ACCESS, SyBase, Oracle and so on. Even enterprises which want to go for a makeover, they can rely on Java as it performs all that without much ado and the services not being interrupted in the interim.

However, it takes a while for people to understand Java, its features and what it could offer.
