I received this product on my birthday as a gift in january this year. It has been 10 months since I have been using it and it has worked without any hiccups ever since and I trust it will continue to do so in the future.
Design and build- it is cuboidal in design with the front face containing the main speaker, the smaller face on top containing all the buttons and the side face containing connectivity options like micro usb for charging and aux output. The design allows for the speaker to be placed on its sides so that the sound comes directly to the ears instead of being on top, which I think is a very good feature.
It also has loops to tie a thread in and hang it from the wall. The build is quite sturdy although the plastic isn’t fingerprint resistant.
Sound quality- I have tried zebronics and creative speakers in the same range and trust me jbl go beats it by a very good margin when it comes to the sound quality, although it is not so high on bass output but the sound is loud enough and very clear at maximum volume, sometimes it is so good it almost feels unreal ( listen songs at 320 kbps, recommended)
Battery- lasts about 4-5 hours on a single charge, lesser if you play intense music continuously at higher volumes, again, quite satisfactory.
A full charge takes around 1.25-1.5 hours, a usb cable is included in the box to be used with an adapter.
Connectivity- probably the only let down with this speaker is that it is not compatible with usb devices or micro sd cards. The only way is to play songs via bluetooth or using an AUX cable, but since usb devices are hardly customisable it works just fine with me.
Another unique feature is that it has a built in microphone, so you can even attend calls from this speaker.
All in all, it is a great buy at 1800 bucks and I wpuld recommend this to anyone wanting a mid range bluetooth speakers of good quality.
