NEVER NEVER take warranty plans

Had misfortune of buying a 2 year Extended Warranty plan from Jeeves for my Vu TV purchased from their parent company - Flipkart. Cajoled into buying warranty where the executive landed within an hour of me agreeing to purchase the plan for 3000/-. Now TV screen has gone off and have been repeatedly following up with Jeeves. They are saying it would take them 15-30 days for the part to be replaced. Idiots. No escalation mechanism. Call up customer care who have no idea about the current status and they rudely disconnect the call.
