HITACHI Inverter 6.1 ISEER 1 Ton. AC Installation made me run through for more than a month.
Worst part was Jeeves, without installing the product they closed the installation ticket as installed.
I followed up with Flipkart and they arranged for the installation again.
Copper pipe Stand, Jeeves quoted more since I didn’t agree he made me to buy in the shop by paying high price. Copper pipe, 950, Stand 950, Drain pipe 230 Installation 2000 rupees. No bill for installation.
During installation itself I noticed product is having a problem when the top-bottom wing set to middle position and when left-right wing is moving it creates a tuk tuk sound which is irritating and disturbs at night. So I asked installation person report to Hitachi as it seems like part defect he didn’t agree and started to rub the wing with the knife. He didn’t listen to me.
I was working with Flipkart to fix that issue. In the meantime flipkart wanted to initiate a replacement but the window was over.
Later it was not getting cool and found that there is leakage I need to refill the gas which will cost me 1500 rupees. Flipkart wanted to refund now but I need an AC very badly so I am calling Hitachi directly. Which I have been asking Flipkart from the beginning.
Just because Flipkart have a tie up with Jeeves, Hitachi was not agreeing for the installation as it might cause warranty issue.
I had a call with Jeeves, no one is professionals. Believe me, never ever ask for an installation from Jeeves. No basic ethics.
Verified Hitachi installation is very cheap, 1200 for the installation, Copper pipe set 550 per meter. Stand 750.
Money is not the concern here, commitments from Flipkart are not met that’s all I am saying.
I verified with Hitachi and confirmed it was poor installation.
I paid extra for the poor installation. More than a month now still the problem exists. If atleast after installation I was able to use the product without any problem. I would have forgot the extra money I paid.
If the installation was done by Hitachi, I would have saved 1350 rupees and professional installation and Gas refilling cost 1500.
If I would have bought in shop I would have got free and professional installation by Hitachi & stabilizer Price difference was only 1500.
Honest suggestion, do not buy any big appliances online. Very difficult to work with these people. Moreover they treat very bad & cheap.
This is my first big appliance buying experience online. I will never ever suggest anyone to buy online.
Moreover stingent return/replacement policy, online retailers are not ready to work on improving return-replacement policy instead of that they suspect each and every customer.
Total I spent more than 24 hours over the phone last 30 days with Flipkart and Jeeves for this issue. And one entire day for the installation.
Highly frustrated
