After my Deccan’s experience .. I set my eyes on JET and got the chance also soon..

After a week or so(Mid Aug this year) I resigned from my company and took a offer at Chennai.. Now I had to relocate to Chennai since company was ready to reimburse up to 10k on production of bill I thought of trying Jet, the most famous private name on Indian sky.
I didn’t even try any agent I just logged in and booked the tickets the site was more complex than Deccan’s as they have more no of flights I choose the noon flight as per my convenience. The major difference from Air Deccan was the fare was not visible till you select the flight so one can loose a low fare flight on the same day if he doesn’t check all the flights available. Again I paid by credit card and the process was smooth as breeze.
I didn’t take the printout just kept the PNR handy and took the ticket printout from Jet’s counter at airport. I have checked with there helpdesk and they were ok with it. They also send a confirmatory email whose printout works as an eticket.
This time I had more luggage and had to check in one suitcase the staff was very courteous and asked me choice of seat like front or rear or windows or aisle etc, I took a window seat in mid just before the wings. The plane was divided into executive and economy again the plane looked old and refurbished. Does any airline in India uses new aircrafts??
After boarding and taking off a tetra pack fruit juice was offered as welcome drink and than a snack meal was served. The food was ok aesthetically, nothing to write about the taste. The in-flight magazine was again a few flights old.. I was thinking no different from Air Deccan still people call it low cost airline. The in-flight announcer announced the temp etc and gave brief account of what one can see on the right and left of plane when flying over the city during the take off. The flight took off on time and reached on time; got my luggage on time without any damage.
