Sahara...Emotionally Yours !!!I wouldnt give in to such emotions.
I once took a Sahara from Hyd to Bangalore(my first and the last), as Jet(the BEST) was full and had no other option.
When contacted, the ground personnel were absolutely fantastic !!! They treated me well, got me a Businnes class ticket and even screened my baggage, for me, despite my protests.The box of chocolates(forget the brand...the gift and the warmth in it matters) was the Icing on the Cake.
All said, I was hoping to a pleasant journey(after a long haul from UK via Dubai) from Hyd.Things took a complete turn around on board.
There was a guy(meek looking creature) serving the business.I wondered in case of an emergency, he would be requiring help.How on earth hes gonna assist people???
The seats were down-trodden.The craft looked like a condemned from IA(imagine from IA!!!).
The announcements were pathetic.This hostess was frantically running up and down earlier and gasping for breath started the announcements.I couldnt make head or tail of it...though its the standard ones !!!
The service was inhospitable.It was as if Sahara is doing me a favor by proving food.They were taking orders in the business -- Sandwich or NO Sandwich.Thats it.
A bowl of nuts-that were stale was served before the food.Food was the last straw that broke the camels back.Sandwich was absolutely not fresh...it was dry and rotting.When people complained the guy informed them, hes not making the sandwich, instead complain on ground.
I decided never to fly Sahara again !!!
Recommendations -> If you are looking for cheap flights, try the apex fares or Air Deccan that does not provide you in-flight services and not charge.
Paying exbortitantly and not receiving the service is misfortune - not only for the PAX but for Sahara if it continues the stride !!!
