First in the name of Sahara & now Jet Lite !!

Jet Lite provides such a poor service especially when it comes to punctuality. My frind is expected today to come from Hydrabad to Delhi & her departure time from there was 7.30a.m. Passengers kept on waiting for hours together at the airport & noone informed them as to how delay would be the flight. The dealy was then told  due to security reasons for some VIP. Just imagine, does not a common man has any time value? What do we purchase high priced air tickets to save time in lieu of money & what do we get in return is disappointment!


Sahara failed & now Jet Lite. Mergers or new names does not improve on the service level but yes it does give people a hope that it might have improved.


Whole day waiting to board a flt seems a frequent practise in India now(especially domestic). Airlines takes it for granted the people can wait till the time they want them to. Why are’nt there rules set up for such scenarios? Why are’nt any compesation given to the passengers? Why only’regret’ is said & not felt by the airlines. In the jet age we still have to worry about the distances to be covered within 2-3 hours by air - will the flt be on time?


India cannot progress in such a manner rather it adds to a bad name when passengers from abroad visit India & take such an impression for our airlines.


Airlines do not worry about its Goodwill but the revenue it earns. People have lost their real soul of a true Indian by running in the race to earn more & more money. How do such people sleep peacefuly at night knowing that passengers using their service are suffering almost every other day ?
