When a airlines AC fails in mid june

It was mid June 2005 when I boarded the Sahara airlines flight from Bangalore at 10:00 am to Kolkatta via Hyderabad.Check-in and other formalities went **good**. But I made a mistake by not specifying the seat I wanted . I asked for a window seat and got one but one above the wings. The noise made by engine irritated me thruout the four and half hour journey.

So my **advise** to everyone do ask for a seat away from wings.Trouble started when I boarded the train and found that the **AC was not effective**. Passengers had to use the **free Sahara newsletter** to air them self.**No entertainment** in the flight , not even a magazine .Food was good but other service was poor. There was **no cotton available** for an old lady sitting next to me (and the engine) when demanded. Moreover there were **no air hostess** and only flight stewards [ :( ] .

They should learn some lesson from **kingfisher airlines**.**Four and half hour journey flying over east coast over Hyderabad to kolkatta in mid June with AC not working, sitting next to engine and no cute air hostess [ :)] around was an experience never to forget for me.**it was a poor experience overall and I have made a point never to board Sahara airlines. Its been 20 months time and I hope that Sahara airlines should have improved there service (and AC) by now. My** recommendation** to Sahara airlines is to concentrate more on complete customer satisfaction to survive in the **high competition airlines race.*
