again the magic of the ever time great gulzar and SEL combo. the whole album is not impressive though but the 2 songs in this album makes your valuable paisa wasool....
the first song.... is ... bol na halke halke...
the song which was not published much (relatively) but it is the most most beauuuuutiful song. I think this is one of the best of the best song made by SEL. stunning words of gulzar ( a sample is quoted above), heartly sung by rahat fateh ali khan and mahalaxmi ayyer which directly transports u in the blooms of the magic world of love. excellent classical touch of rahat and mahalaxmi at the end of the song and during the interlute of second stranza . frnds, here ull get the difference btwn rahat and atif ( I dont knw why atif still sings....-

overall... bol na halke is a classic combo of excellent singing, music, interlutes (listen the guitar in the first interlute...awsome...) and https://lyrics.... a must must listen at any cost by all muusic lovers.
coming to the 2nd song.... it is the title track of JBJ. though there r so many titletracks but the one which is sung by shankar mahadevan ( aaja rubba ishqe di...). superb use of overdrive guitar traditional dhol. really impressive is the singing of shankar mahadevan. again he proves that he is amongst the best classical singers in india. ( if u can, u just measure the range os shankar during the stranzas when he sings RABBA in the BACKGROUND) though the mukhda is in punjaabi, it suits.
so, overall.... rocking song with superb singing... must listen....
coming to misc. other songs... ticket to hollywood, kiss of love and other treasures of JBJ titles.
all r nice to hear but frankly speakin... ull not b able to listen it more then 3 times... I mean ull get boared because I dont find any classy element in these songs.u can feel the words of gulzar in evry songs ( even in the kiss of love, just hear the stranzas), but it lakes the beauty of bol na halke or JBJ title....
so folks.... just buy the album spl. for the 2 songs I ve mentioned i bet u, ull also feel rewarded aftr hearing the 2 and spl. bol na halke...
