Pathetic Call Connectivity & Data Speed by Jio4G

I have been a Reliance Jio customer since the time they issued 4G Jio sims. The service good during the initial free period till the decided to start charging their customers for data pack.


Since last 2 months I have been facing all sorts of issues with call connectivity using JIO 4G sim - to name a few like:-


call not connecting,


blank calls


call drops


voice not clear


voice cracking during calls


phone hanging on pressing CALL RECEIVE button


call made 10 minutes back, but being received after 10 minutes.


Slowly, the same became so frequent that I contacted Jio customer care on 18Dec17.


I was told that there are some’limited coverage’ in my area and that they are looking into the issues and the SAME WILL BE SORTED WITHIN 60 DAYS of my complaint.


Firstly, not only me, but my friends and family members who have been using JIO 4G sim have been facing similar issues of late.


Secondly, it is not only my home, where I am facing this issue. It is irrespective of the place.


Thirdly, it is going to take 2 months for them to rectify this issue and in the interim THEIR CUSTOMERs HAVE TO GO TRHOGUH THIS ORDEAL EVERY DAY.


Now, to add further to my woes, the Data speed has also gone down drastically despite having sufficient amount of my daily quota of 1GB left eod, since I use wifi when at home or at work.


My complaint id given to me is SR00000G0478 on 18Dec17.


Last mail received from them on 28Jan18, on another complaint from my side regarding slow DATA SPEED and Call issues, says "we are enhancing our network at your location. This should be done within 17Feb2018.


I want to know from the Jio Customer Care Team - what should the customer do in the interim if the TAT for them is 2 months?


Had I not been using Vodafone sim as an alternate mode for communication, I would have been stuck.


And the best part, I have, only this month, renewed my membership with Jio for Rs399 plan valid for 70 days which is due to expire on 15Mar18.


I am thoroughly disgusted with this kind of service and waiting for membership to expire so that I can switch over to another service provider.


For all those who have Jio, please lodge complaints with Jio customer care - care@jio.com or call their customer service since we are aishwaryasingh23ing for a service which has become sub-standard now.
