I work at jio services. One of our first apps to launch on play store is the JIO CHAT service. This app has all the features you would expect in a modern instant messaging apps like whatsapp and hike and wechat. Though this app is a bit laggy on Android, it is still feature packed, it supports upto 500 group members I’m a single group( whatsapp only can hold upto 250 members per group) . Jio Chat also uses stickers! They are far more expressive than the usual whatsapp emojis!
This app also makes VoIP calls, which means two Ji chat users can talk to each other for free as long as they have Internet. The video calling is also there! More over, this app has a built in call log manager, so you don’t have to leave the app in order to make a call! This is a very useful Feature!
What sets this app apart is the CHANNEL feature, there are many active channels with different purposes, one channel may provide you with breaking news while the other may be a challenge competition conducted by the company itself. There are also many exciting coupons which we could redeem at reliance fresh stores and reliance digital stores. It’s just the lag In the app that’s a bit irritating; else this app has a huge potential!
