I purchased this device in deal offer of Rs. 999 in which I get JioFi Device model name is M2S From Reliance Digital Store, Phoenix, Alambagh, Lucknow. At the store they r offering new sim also if you have old sim of Jio they helping you out in configuring that too. So I put my old sim and executive there configured it as well as told me the procedure too for configuring it. It start working right there using Jio4GVoice app my call is going thru that device in which my old sim is inserted. In Short my phone 4G sim slot is free’coz that sim is inserted into this new device.
Now glitch is that you can make call with phone with which device n sim is configured and other smart phone can easily use its 4G data service(internet) it doesnt matter those phone are 3g or 2g.
So then I have one more Jio sim and I want it to test with my mom sony xperia T3 whose sim slot is damage. So what I did I removed original sim from device n inserted this other Jio sim in JioFi M2S device n download Jio4gVoice app on my mom phone that is sony xperia t3 and started configuring it with Jio4GVoive then it proceed to next step where it asking for OTP I thought that OTP will come in same device, i.e, Xperia T3 but big No it comes to your last phone with which device is syncronized using Jio4g Voice app. so I figure out it easily and I entered that OTP in Xperia T3 phone n boom phone is ready for making call using JioFi M2S wifi(router) device. One more thing this device has slot for memory card which support up to 32 gb micro sd card.
wifi ssid and password is printed in box which you can change using device router admin panel whose url is https://jiofi.local.html.
This device comes with 1 year warranty for the device n 6 months for accessories.
It has 2300mAh lithium ion battery support approx 6 hours of surf time. Comes with 1 usb adapter n one usb cable.
