Saavn is an android application made to stream music in real time. It is available to both android and ios. On google playstore its free. Thats where I downloaded this from. The app interface looks cool. There are a number of categories to choose from like new releases, charts and playlists and radio stations, browse and discover. If you login through your phone number or facebook, you will also be able to directly share music to. The condition is you must have an active internet connection. Whats even worse is that you cannot download songs from this app. In order to download songs, you will have to upgrade to the pro version for a monthly charge of 95/- Now some people might want to upgrade because this app has a huge collection of songs and theyre mostly high quality songs with a bit rate of 320 kbps, that have minimal loss in quality. But in my experience, that turns out to be useless because songs downloaded through this app wont show up in the file explorer. You can access them through the saavn app only. That means, you can only keep the music to yourself and not share it with anyone. Now this is boring. Why would you compromise when youre paying a premium price of 95 per month? The point here is that if I have an internet connection, I can download music on my own also without having to pay anything. So, I dont recommend this app.
