I saw this movie in mid March 2009 long after the movie released. Its a wonderful movie and will be liked by people who like stories on Indian history....
The charactersof Todar Mal could have given much importance though the story doesnt revolve around him.... The very good thing that was shown in the movie was Akbars administration capabilities with Hindu ministers on top posts and this definitely requires applause.
Hrithik Roshan has been the axis, pillar and life of the movie and his acting has been exceptionally great and his urdu dialect is fabulous.... Being from South India, I did have difficulty in catching up the story line and missed the subtitles ;-)
Aishwarya has done a fabulous job and her acting definitely has stood out like Hrithik. However given the fact that the Miss World 1994 lady is very much in her mid 30s and makeups cant make a world of difference in hiding her stint on planet earth either this movie could have been made 5 years earlier ;-) or they could have hired one of the best make up men..
I infact wanted to write, the perfect artist for the role of Jodha would be and started thinking of names. No. I couldnt think of a better personal than Miss ARB and she has lived up the expectations of playing the title role..The other good roles were performed by artists who played the role of Bairam Khan, Akbars mother, aunt....
