Relience Mobile just at Rs. 40 paise per minute ease of operation, Joggers Park maintained by ... etc etc.. these were the high points of the otherwise very well made confusing movie. The director(may his soul rest in peace) producer duo were really confused as to whether they were making a commercial masala movie ot a parallel cinema// art movie.. or something like monsoon wedding.
The confusion rubs off on Victor Bannerjee and in most of the movie he too looks confused, Parizad looks her stunning self and leaves old judge stunned as well. Asmi has been given due coverage also so if some of you do go out and buy the diamonds then the money they must have spent on sponsorship will be recovered.
The movie has been shot completely in Mumbai and looking at the product placements galore in the movie Subhash Ghai must have recovered his monies even before the first viewers entered the theaters to watch the movie.
AS this is a movie review so the story goes like this.. A career judge retires and post retirement goes to the joggers park to catch up on health which was relegated to the background for the past five years of his professional life. He is majorly persuaded by his daughter by her continueous banter and most of us in the hall thought of escaping to joggers park to get away from her. SHe keeps on her nonstop chat till the very end of the movie and is really rritating.
SO the old retired goes to the park with the confused look on his face till the time the ravashing heroine piles on to him and becomes his friend and start calling him Jassy. SHe brings him gifts and he returns the favour by advising her legally in a matter and the old guy falls for her in the bragain. The lady too accepts the fact and they carry on with the confused relationship. The old man is really popular inspite of being a judge.. in my 8 years of my career in media I have not seen a high court judge being so famous to the tune that people in loos and loobies alike recognise him.....
But as it always happens.. the story reaches the family and this time again the director entrusts his daughter with the task of gettin ghim on the track..... rest is immaterial... if you really wish to ask the question ’’ Kyon paise kharch kiya’’ go see this movie.. or else hail pirecy.. can be watched on cable.. TV Last but not the least.. Adnan Sami has been used in every shot more than 45 seconds long.. thankfully in the background and by the time one reached the end of the movie(which I actually did) one really gets fed up with the same lines being hammered in to the head.. I am sure you will get so frustrated that you will start laughing...
