There are reasons to hate and love Jogi.

Perhaps Gurukiran’s best album todate, Jogi goes onto haunt listeners, by the sheer quality of orchestra and tunes. You don’t need to undestand the https://lyrics.

However, the real surprise package is the https://lyrics.

Penned by Director Prem, they are quite good to listen.

That’s as far as the music goes.

The fim:

The very first scene gets the viewers clean-bowled.

Hero, Shivarajkumar gets the bhikshe from his parents (Dr Raj & Parvatamma).

There’s not much to write about the story.

Just another one where an innocent becomes criminal.

One thing that strikes is the powerful performances.

Arundhati Nag & Ramesh Bhat as Jogi’s Parents,   Debuntant Aadi Lokesh (Mysore Lokesh’s Son) and Gururaj Hoskote as the Buwa are all Superb.

For Shivarajkumar, though this is a Rowdy-film, He puts a great show. He gets ample chances to display his skills and he excels in it.

Prem should be credited for bringing out all these good performances.

Heroine Jennifer looks good.

However, there is a disturbing factor and that is the Violence and dailogues.

This is a movie for the front-benchers and unabashedly, there’s a usage of bad-words.

This movie was expected to be a Rodwy-story, but the Mother-Son sentiment surprised everyone.

The tragic ending, where the son can’t see his mother’s face before she’s buried does moist the eyes.

It ended up as a biggest money-grosser of 2005 and Producer Ramprasad had his maiden venture as a big success.
