When did we ever have need to have movie critics/reviews? Basically an opinion of some random person who has their own taste in films! If you scroll through half the reviews these critics have you will see a pattern in their reviews. Their reviews are directed by personal taste. BS!
Second, movies are made to help the general public escape from reality for two hours. A movie is a place where life/reality can be manipulated to fit a story line to help a movie goer find escape. Why do we care so much if something is possible or not? or if it represents the way we feel something should or should not be portrayed? A movie is your chance to see someone else’s vision and live in their mind.
Everyone sees the world differently!So Stallone’s version of the war in Burma is how he feels it should be portrayed. Do we fault him for this? Would you not do the same?
I guess my point is everyone is going to have different reviews on a movie because we all like different things. So why ruin it for others by slamming a movie? Keep your to yourself.
Movie critics really serve no purpose. Just make people run to a movie or not when people should just go to arrive at their own opinion rather then letting another imperfect human decided for them whether they should see a movie or not.
