Johnny Gaddaar – finally I managed to lay my hands on this DVD. What a movie! What a storyline!. The cast and director will draw your attention within 10 minutes from the start. It’s a great suspense thriller.
What impress you, not just the storyline, photography and quick pace but also how director could manage to get work out from many first timers and also old hands like Dharmendra. World knows that Dharamji has only one style of acting which was great when he was young. For this movie, a graduation into sober yet appealing role was needed and that was well extracted by our talented South Indian director Sriram.
This film is a story about a gang who wants to crack a deal to get rich until one of the gang member decides to betray. Unlike other thrillers where the identity of the culprit is kept a secret till the climax nears, here the audience knows it right from the outset. The script is interesting, with twists and turns with one accident leading to many crimes.
The new comer Neil is a promising actor which he proved in this movie. He not only has the looks but acting talent too.
Even if someone has told you about the story, you would love this flick if you see it. I am happy to rate it 4 on 5 stars.
