One thing is true-- good movies dont always make it up in bollywood. Johnny Gaddar proves it! The movie is an amazing thriller, that too when there is nothing new in the story, but the execution, the suspense, "what will happen next" just hangs over you.
Neil mukesh is a good actor & carries his role with conviction. I am scared that the poor boy might get typecasted into grey roles after this movie. But he is a damn good actor.
Dont listen to people who didnt saw this movie or to critics who werent paid enough to write good about this one. Dont get discouraged about the lack of soundtrack, trust me it wouldnt have fitted in & are you not bored with the silly movies where a dance drama pops into a serious scene with no sense?
The 2 songs (though not picturised in the movie) johnny gaddar (it became a background score) & doob ja are excellent & produce the trademark shankar-ehsaan-loy effect, ie. u hate them the 1st time you listen to them & they grow on u & grab u.
overall good movie, get the DVD & have a good time.
