Jolly LLB 2 is as good as the prequel version(Jolly LLB). At some point I also thought it is infinitely superior to the first part. Jolly LLB 2 is a courtroom drama with strong sense of time place and rhythm. The story binds itself to an excellent and satisfying conclusion. Jagdiswar Mishra a.k.a jolly who hails from Kanpur woks as an assistant to a famous lawyer Rizvi sahab. Jolly lies to a pregnant lady Heena, that Rizvi sahab has agreed to fight her case and convinces her to give him 2 lakh rupees, which he uses to make the last payment for his personal chamber. When Heena finds out that she has been fooled, she commits suicide. Everyone blames Jolly for heena’s death. Out of guilt Jolly decides to fight Heena’s case and files a PIL. And finds out that Heena’s husband was killed in a fake encounter conducted by a notorious police official.
Jolly faces a tough fight and death threat by the opposition but he sticks on with the case.
All the actors performed excellently. Specially Saurabh Sukhla as Judge Sunderlal Tripathi. Phenomenal acting by Akshay Kumar and Annu Kappoor made the movie worth watching. Best part of the movie that I liked was the scene where Hina played by Sayani Gupta realizes that she has been fooled, when she utters that powerful dialogue " Insaaf chaiye, de sakte ho" I got goosebumps while watching the scene.
Music was much decent with few songs. Background music really incorporated to create the whole environment in the movie.
Cinematography was also laudable and was praiseworthy. I specially loved the scene in Kashmir where Akshay and his fellow partner is being chased by the opposition.
In total Jolly LLB 2 is a Must watch movie. Everybody should go watch and enjoy the thrilling journey.
