Jolly LLB 2 brings back the memories of Jolly LLB the first one which was stared by Arshad warsi and boman irani.
Although the new one has a more star power because of akshay kumar it still fails to win the case in court of the audience.
The movie tells a story of an aspiring lawyer who is working under the biggest lawyer of the town courtesy to his father.
The story struggles to involve the audience into the drama as the outcome of the movie is quite obvious from the first half.
Acting performances are good but at some point the saturation in acting can be noticed as the scenes are written too ordinaraly.
The first half is the struggling period of akshay as a lawyer while in second half he comes back strongly to win the case and prove hinself as an established lawyer.
Humour wise too the movie fails to inpress only the music particularly the holi song gets noticed.
Anu kapoor too fails to leave a mark of his as the whole drama created is just so ordianary.
I give this movie 2 out of 5 stars and if you haven’t seen it yet please save your time and energy.
