Introduction
Akshay Kumar has always been one of my most favourite actors. His acting seems very energetic and entertaining, and so are his movies. The news of Jolly LLB3 filled me with joy, and I decided to watch it on the release day, and for that, I rewatched its previous two installments. Akshay Kumar has truly proved it again in the movie, which is why people are his big fans. It is different and not based on just comedy, action, or cameos. But it has a lot to do with morality, greed, wealth, and poverty.
The Plot
Jolly LLB 3 is the third installment of great director Shubhas Kapoor, who has wasted no time in establishing the central conflict and keeping the wit alive without making it a giant dose of melodrama or monotony. The central theme of the movie revolves around the story of a wealthy businessman, Haribhai Khetan, who wants to launch his dream project, Bikaner to Boston. It was a massive project, so he required the land of the villagers, but they refused to give their land, which he later acquired by misleading the farmers with the help of local politicians, administrative officials, and influential people.
The situation turns bad when one of the farmers commits suicide under pressure, and his wife, Janki, goes to Jolly(Arshad Warsi) and then Jolly(Akshay Kumar) to seek justice, but unfortunately, they both refuse to help her initially. Later, when they discover the truth behind the incident, they unite against this injustice.
Key Cast Performance
The acting of the lead actors and supporting actors has propelled the movie to a big success. It was really very entertaining. The chemistry of Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi and their comic timing, are the key highlights in the whole movie. Also, the role of Saurabh Shukla(Judge Sundar Lal Tripathi) has continued to be a scene stealer, and Seema Biswas, Ram Kapoor, and Gajraj Rao have impressed with their power-packed performance. Apart from them, the supportive characters like Huma Qurashi and Amrita Rao have looked ornamental amid the films drama. Each character has played their role with true dedication, which created a lasting impact on my mind and made the movie memorable.
Technical Aspects
I love the cinematography and filming of the movie very much, as it’s simple yet effective. The way they have shot across various locations, including Lucknow and Kanpur, using a colour film format, is just outstanding. Apart from its background music and sound effects, I really enjoyed it as it was beautifully composed and nicely complemented the situation in the film. Apart from it, the humour and action sequences have just taken the movie to the next level.
Should You Watch It?
Jolly LLB 3 is the third and best installment of the Jolly LLB series, as it has many tiny chunks of elements that make the movie stand apart. The story is also powerful, and to a great extent, shows the harsh reality of taking advantage of money and position in society, which is really connecting. The makers have beautifully worked on each scene and the dialogues that touched my heart and felt so real. Also, it is needless to say that the acting of Akshay and Arshad was impactful, as we know how wonderfully they capture the screen. Apart from them, the supportive cast has also done a commendable job, which you won’t feel over or useless at all. Overall, a must-watch for fans of Akshay and Arshad, and an eye-opener for anyone who appreciates powerful stories rooted in the harsh realities of our society.
