It is approx 30km from Ranchi i.e from kantatoli chowk, , if you are well known to ranchi then you know where is kantatoli chowk. This place is good fantastic place to view in ranchi it doesnot waste your time if u r view for first time it will really enjoy u.I also went this place with my friends many time we really enjoyed this pLace.the AREA of JONAH FALL under 5km is a totally a village area, BESIDE jonah fall u can also visit HUNDRU FALL THIS FALL is on jonah fall route only about 5kmm
if u r talking about saftey u should take care of urself by own.that means IF u want TO GO IN TO THE WATER U SHOULD FIRST CHECK THE WATER LEVEL .other wise this is a very good place to visit ranchi can be called as tourist place in ranchi
