Jorhat Law College is an institute, founded by Late Nalini Nath Phukan Memorial and Educational Trust and governed by a most dignified governing Body under leadership of justice S.N.Phukan, Judge(Retd.) Supreme Court of India.This is one of the nice college and easily affordable college for law degree. It has it s own college alumini association which was formed two year back on may 2013. ALUMANI Association will organize a year-long academic and cultural activities like holding national seminars on legal theme, alumni meet, quiz programme, symposiums and publishing special news letter and souvenir, etc., which would focused on involving the alumni of the institute to mark the Golden Jubilee Year of the College. It offer two courses. First LLb for three year.Second is B.A./LL.B.(Hons.): 5 year Integrated course and the last is LL.M(Master of Law): 2 year(Semester) course
