Almost a copy of the original film 'Judwaa'

Have you ever seen a movie with 2 Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu? I am not joking. This is the lead cast of the movie Judwaa 2.

Judwaa 2 is the reboot of David Dhawan’s’Judwaa’. Everybody wants to see this film since this a reboot of the famous film with Salman Khan.

Jadwaa 2 has a touch of the original film, Judwaa. The most clear example of it is that, Judwaa 2 contains the remix of the famous songs "Uchi hai building" and "Chalti hai kya tu 9 se 12". There are many other iconic scenes retained from the orignal film.

Cast- Varun Dhawan(as Prem and Raja), Jacqueline Fernandez(as Alishka), Taapsee Pannu(as Samara), Rajpal Yadav(as Nandu), Vivian Bathena(as Alex), Jonny Lever(as Pappu Passport).

The film begins with the introduction that a couple is expecting their child. When the wife finally gave birth two twins, the doctor informs that the twins were conjoined and doctors had to separate them. The doctors say that it was one in a million case.

Then a rogue steals one of the two twins. Then one twin goes with the couple to London, while another gets left behind in Mumbai as an orphan.

Prem, the orphaned twin, gets bullied in college for being too meek. Taapsee helps him to answer back to the bullies, and they start to fall in love.

Raja, Prem’s brother is sassy, strong and popular. He dances like Govinda in the song’Chalo Ganpati Bappa Morya’.

The cast has been significantly chaged fom Judwaa to Judwaa 2. Shakti Kapoor and Mukesh Rishi in Judwaa have been replaced by Rajpal Yadav and Vivian Bathena for the character’Nandu’ and the antagonist’Alex’ respectively. Karisma Kapoor in Judwaa has been replaced by Jacquline Fernandez in Judwaa 2.

After the song’Chalo Ganpati Bappa Morya’, an action sequence takes place to show that Raja is strong. Then Jonny Lever takes his entry as’Pappu Passport’ and helps Raja and Nandu escape from Mumbai after a fight with Alex. On the fligh to London, Raja meets Jacquline Fernandez and tries to impress her. Varun as Prem has to try a little harder to impress Samara(Taapsee). Raja gets a job in an Indian restrauant in London. Prem, Raja, Samara and Alishka are now all in one city. The action begins.

I don’t want to tell the full story as I don’t want that no one goes to see the film, however below is the actual review of the film that will help you to make your decision whether to go to see the film or not(probably not). Before seeing the film I was very excited because there were two Varuns, which though would double the fun. The two old songs broke my heart because I had come to see the second part of an old movie, and not the old movie with new cast and acting. The structure is 75% copy of the original film. The introduction is predictable. There was only a little drama in the whole movie. Salman and Shakti Kapoor(in Judwaa) were much better suited(as a comic pair) than Rajpal Yadav and Varun Dhawan. The only glaring thing about the film is its forced comedy. Varun is naturally funny, but the actors around him try very hard but offen miss the point. And why will you name a character as’Pappu Passport’. Isn’t there any proper title. Passport is such an important document, we should respect it and not joke about it. After all it proves our identity and nationality. The comedy is so irregular. Varun is carrying the weight of the film on his shoulders. All over I didn’t like the film.
