Hello friends this is my review on one of the most beautiful actresses in bollywood the lovely and effervescent Juhi chawla, popularly known for bubbly girl image and famous for her trademark giggles.Juhi is blessed with good looks as well as immense talent She was the winner of miss india title in 1984 and from beauty contest, she moved into film industry with film sultanat as her debut opposite karan kapoor, which went unnoticed Qayamat se qayamat tak relaunched her career this film turned out to be successful.
Later juhi did a series of forgettable films .And in 1993 she bounced back with film Darr in which she was paired against sunny deol and shahrukh khan this film did well at the box office Following this was another hit film Hum hai rahi pyar ke , which established her credentials as an actress.she also won the filmfare award for this film
Around this time, she was facing tough competition from madhuri dixit, who was riding high with the success of film hum apke hai kaun madhuri became every filmmakers favorite then, as a result juhi was left with some offers.Yet, she went ahead and proved her talent in films like daraar and deewana mastana which were average hits.
Think of juhi, one thing which comes to my mind is her remarkable comic timing.Perhaps she is the only actress who tried her hand at comedy and it was successful attempt too she was superb in comedy films like duplicate one two ka four and mr and mrs khiladi.Besides doing comedy roles she also played negative role in film **arjun pandit
Juhi has done many films opposite shahrukh She has successfully teamed up with srk delivering hits like Raju bangaya gentlemen and Yes boss.She turned producer with film Phir bhi dil hai hindustani with srk as her buisness partner this film did not do well at the box office Following this was one two ka four inspite of juhi’s excellent performance this film flopped
Starting with mainstream cinema, Juhi is now concentrating on parallel cinema she has acted in critically acclaimed films like Teen deewarien, 71/2 phere and Jhankar beats. Well, i feel that juhi never got her due and also didnot get the right directors who could exploit her talent to the fullest she has such a range as an actress she can easily do any kind of role.Juhi chawla has come a long way from her first film she is now in her late 30’s I guess but still this actress looks charming and graceful as ever
