I suggest no one to try and go to devbagh jungle resorts.They are completely devoid of infrastructure.The electricity is very low volted and there is no activity whatso ever.
They are overly expensive and have a strict military like time regulated service. There is no snorkeling, paragliding etc like they advertised. The para sailing is also not very good.they are expensive on the other hand.
The rooms/cottages are dirty, no clean linen or towels. no house keeping done. The food they serve is cheap and for the non vegetarians, they almost and always serve fish that smells.
No one tries to guide you for anything.the cottages are placed at a considerably far distance from the sea. There is a bota house where in you can spend time for a night which is the only thing good but its nothing compared to other places that provide this facility.
Over all , waste of money and time.you will come back with lots of regret and frustration. They take you for dolphin watching but you can hardly see some.we saw more dolphins in goa than in devbaugh. They had a banana boat ride but we had no idea who would take us or when. there was just one person managing the whole resort and trust me he hardly managed things.
There is another resort called the great outdoor resort close by which is typically on an island. I don’t know about it but I suggest trying that instead if you really have to visit devbagh. The beach also is nothing special. You can find better beaches in goa or any other part of india. so when someone says devbagh please let them know what you read here or else you could end up paying 15, 000 rupees for a bpat house and 5000 rupees per night at their cottages for nothing at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am required to fill in 150 words on this review but I cant find anything good to mention about. Devbagh jungle resorts is merely a waste of money time and energy.
