Two little time for the story of the movie to convey to large audience especially for those who has no background on comics and has meeting idea of story line and character.
Extensive cuts for some supporting characters for some entire characters senior cut making their efforts in the label and may be huge part in upcoming movie of shared Universe but it’s also a confirmation that those characters will be preserved for directors cut.
In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if all the attention is now on the very next DC movies because you needed 3 to establish a pattern hence the future of DC movies relies very heavily on aquaman which is to be released on December 2018
