The world we live in is a unique exhibition in itself ! The wide colour spectrum ranging from variety to variety , literally un-ending ! Well , the J.W.Marriot , is one such place , which will pop your eye balls out and stunn you with its maginific looks and open newer dimensions , doors of perception for future hotel management in India .
It was a considerable cool summer evening . I was reading reviews on MS , I got a call from a close friend which went like ’’ hey tanmay , my family is going to J.W. Marriot , yes yes , the new hotel , my dad has got contacts there , the said we would get free dinner , you coming .......? ’’
I had heard a lot about J.W.Marriot , and how could I ever resist such an oppurtunity ! So , I casually dropped into the party and drove along with my friend ( it was better than kicking stones on the pavement I guess )
We reached J.W.Marriot and immediately we got 5 star service. Once we went inside , I stood spellbound by the sheer profusion of the various people , the jostling miniature crowds , with wonder writ large on their faces !
The entrance occupied a large area . There were so many wonderful things to look at , each of which exhibited its own qualities , with stuff decoratively arranged. Truly , it left me spellbound ! Fantastic figures of sandalwood and ivory could also be spotted .
After dinner , I was jus t strolling around and I paused near a few paintings exhibited in the hotel . Stunningly done , it seemed like they had specially hired painters to do the interior job of the hotel .
The hotel was magnificently done . The architectural brilliance could be spotted easily ! I was fascinated by the luminous neon lights illuminating the hotels royal entrance.
The food , well the menu was a plethora of a wide range of foodstuff . Your stomach would grown just as you look at the menu card , seriously !! Everything from indian - chinese , everything , u name it and they have it ! The food was prepared very well , good stuff , good quantitiy . Of course , it takes a toll on your wallet ! Well , it was a complimentory dinner for us , complete with desert and Ice Cream . Everything was awesome.
Hygene was at an optimum level. I was in a state of awe ! What a clean place this ! Well , you might not realy believe me , but hey , J.W.Marriot is really a heaven indoors ! The surroundings are also pretty nice with fountains and other forms of art.The staff are very nice , very well behaved , spik and spank uniform . Booking is mandatory I guess . This basically is a hotel for the rich , its very expensive though. The speed of service was pretty decent. Good enough for the no. of people they have to serve though .
Truly , J.W.Marriot is a visionary example for all te other hotels in India . Its a must see !
