After studing in Ruparel college for two years, this college’s Campus is nothing infront of it. Just a single 8 floor building with nothing around it, a few buildings although. Small practical Labs, where we have to perform in batches of few students. Inspite of having so much land around the building of their own, thy havent developed the college like the Vidyavihar college.
Their used to be two entrances to the college but now its just one because of the danger of crossing railway tracks. But that one entrance is too long, the college is very inside from the Everad bus stop so this is one of the main reason of coming late to the college atleast for the freshers.
Apart from all this, the college is very strict with respect to attendance and discipline. more than 75% attendance is needed to get good term work. Term work is also depended on the marks you get in your unit test. Forgetting all the difficulties and disappointments, all the professors are really good and supporting. They are strict but then they are helpful also. As in every college, it has four to five commitees,
I was in Ecell. Since it was’nt related to our academics, its a nice experince.
College gives full freedom and support in all the extra-curricular activities be it TECH-Fest or Cultural Fest. The most important part-PLACEMENTS! I can say college gives very good placement only you should be capable of it. Although core placements(ETRX and EXTC) are just growing step by step bt others are all good. Twenty to Twenty-five companies visit this college for placements. All the Placement related professors and the alumini keep on posting for diffrent job requirements from various companies which is very useful for unplaced students. In-short College is good, you must decide what are your EXPECTATIONS from the college!
