Story: Two visually impaired meet Rohan Bhatnagar(Hrithik) and Supriya Sharma(Yami). They fall in love and get married. They have a dark but happy world whivhis turned upside down when Supriya gets raped by the brother of a politician. Rohan’s problems increase when the police turn a blind eye toward them due to the politician’s( Ronit Roy) power. Yami is again raped by the same criminal again and this time unabke to bear the mental and physical torture Supriya commits suicide. Infuriated and disheartened Rohan is left with no choice but to take the law into his own hand.
Review: Revenge is the movie’s genre. The movie begins by setting up a perfect world for a visually impaired couple. Rohan, a dubbing artist and Supriya, a talented pianist who have a very positive attitude towards life despite of having a handicap. Their love is felt in the audience. The seen in which they get separated at the mall makes you anxious and when they dance together the scene is so pure and magical it makes you giddy.
Neither reel nor real life is all glee and fun. This happens when Amit Shellar and his friend Wasim rape Supriya, both their life plunge into a darkness which even they have never seen. When the corrupt police officers turn a blind eye towards them they both get hopeless. They are both humiliated and when the humiliation becomes too much for Supriya she commits suicide leaving Rohan alone. This leaves Rohan all alone with a vengeance in his heart. Then start the clever plans of Rohan to bring all under justice.
Hrithik’s performance is amazing in the movie. Yami also does great justice to her character.
The direction of the film is pretty good with some pretty awsome action and emotional scenes.
This movie is a must watch for anybody. Director Sanjay Gupta has made a truly great and inspiring movie. I would recommend everyone to watch this thriller movie.
