Foodie man is back. This time with kaafila.
Me and 2 friends of mine were in City Center Kolkata. We came across the name Kaafila. It was a little different. So we decided to give that a shot.
The moment I entered it was like stepping in an Arabian Night set. That was good and catchy. (Wish there were some belly dancers !!! but that’s a family restaurant )
The waiters were all in Arabian costume. Red kurta n Pajama with black coat. All were well behaved and courteous. We were greeted and made to sit as per our requirement ( family waloon se duur ).
Good choice of drinks. I though just preferred a strong beer. They provide complementary snacks with drinks
Sizzler was just excellent. That was Rs 650, with 5 Pc of chicken , 5 Pc of mutton , crabs and fish. It was mouth watering. just too good and value for money.
Then we ordered for a Chicken item a mutton item and 3 rice. all of them were excellent. But the Quantity of rice was not enuf.
All in all good food , good ambience. We three coughed up around 1600 bucks that day which was worth.
Can be tried once.
