For the Indian Bollywood-thrillers, horrors, and the class.... I do not know what the director wanted to make. kaal is a horrible movie which has led me to beleive that it is gonna take ages before bollywood can make good horror movies... (Though this certainly leaves out a few good one which can be counted on your fingers)
Here Is my Revu for the Movie:
The Cast: excpet for the four lead actors (JA, VO, LD, and ED) and Certainly ajay devgan.. no one else had much to do in the movie... Except for some short stints here and there... John Abraham looked cool, VO was at his worst and his dialogues(Cut the crap and jaan se maar dunga(This reminded me of dharam paa ji)) I do not know what LD and ed were doing in the movie... LD the moire superstitious and ed...looked like ’’Yeh kahan aa gaye hum’’ And wearing skimpy clothes thru the jungle, superb...Who will tell these guys there are a lot of other things in the jungle to be afraid of than just tigers or the bhoots....The two frens of VO were equally disgusting
The Storyline-- What storyline, there was just a concept.. not well written into a script... The script writer seemed to be hovering around whether to make a thriller or a horror or a comedy even... not sure though...
The background score -- Who says you can scare the public by some loud backgroundscore running all thru the movie shot in the jungle... I personally feel that natural sounds would have done some good to the movie...
Camera effects-- I will give the cameraman his credit.. He tried his best.. Except for a few scenes where I preffered laughing rather than be scared.. it was an average....
The movie had a few scenes which made some girls in the crowd shout but effectively and overall this movie is a failure... am not concerened whether it rakes up in moolah because of karan johar, sharukh tag...but a failure..nevertheless
One more thing... Ajay devgan ...... I always considered him to be a good actor.. though his acting was not bad but how on earth could he take such a role...
Finally a relief in the end... Tauba tauba.. ZThe song....I watched it completely before I got up...
