If earning collections from outside India has been the aim of Karan Johar, he may have been successful.If taking no risk and putting so many Actors and actresses was the strategy of Karan, he may again be successful because with so many heavy cast, at least once every body will see the film especially keeping in mind karan’s trek record of a sensible and emotional producer. Narating family value and other such words to hide the guilt may console him but inspite of all excellent gradients of cooking a dish, and also presenting it with a lavish decoration and delecious aroma, if the ultimate taste is bitter and sour and ultimately a food poisoning dish, how the people will enjoy or tolerate the valueless plots and a rotten story, is still a matter of controversy and a concern for the cinemagoers who may not expect a film of such degraded standard from Karan Johar.If he himself is a bechlor does not mean he does not have the value of marriage institution. And there was no justification of going SRK and Rani the way they went.
Good directors are those who leave a positive message for the viewers and for the image of nation in the eyes of those living far away as well as for those strugllng in the confused value culture here in India too.
Karan is , of course, not a social reformer or social exploiter but a film maker whose aim is to earn money but should it be at the cost of divulging and spoiling our family and social values. Thus inspite of great star cast, music and other technical class, the soul of the movie is totally missing and this has disappointed most of all sensible viewers.
Better luck next time Karan.I really feel sorry for your immature approach.
