Never Say GoodBye

Expectations are high for this movie the star cast speaks alone of how big this movie is and as for being a Karan Johar movie the expectations almost doubles. As for the music goes for people have spread rumours that this album is really bad even before it came out, well people don’t believe everything you hear that information is totally wrong this album in my view even surpasses Kal Ho Naa Ho. Shankar Ehsaan Loy have done a great job with this winning album and its just a matter of a week or so when the songs go to the number one Position.

Music By: Shankar Ehsaan Loy

Movie Directed By: Karan Johar

Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna

The First song is the title track Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Sung by Sonu Nigam and Alka ji. This track starts of slow with flutes used. Then these Beautiful Lyrics Given By Javid Makes this track touch your heart straight away.

“Tum ko bhi hai khabar

Mujhko bhi hai pata

Ho raha hai judaa

Dono ka raasta

Dur jaake bhi mujhse tum meri yaadon main rehna

Kabhi alvida na kehna

Kabhi alvida na kehna”

Sonu Nigam Does well in this song the way he says Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna is very good the music is soft it reminds you a bit of the title track of Kal Ho Na Ho. The lyrics are very good. A bit sad and it could make the girls reach for the tissues.

Overall 9.5/10

Mitwa

A Track you would not expect to find in a KJ movie, but a Pakistani Retro pop song in his film. No This is not a Mahesh Bhatt film people Its Dharma Production film and you will be glad to hear a song like “Mitwa” something very different. If you’re a fan of “Woh Lamhe” or “Ya Ali” or “Jiya Dhadak Dhadak” from Kalyug then you will like this track a lot. This song will be an amazing hit in weeks to come and it will be huge that’s all I can say about the song. The lyrics are just unbelievable just hear the meaning and the long “Mitwaaa” and the song touches you. It Starts with “love will find away janniye Hiriye” Shafqat Amanat Ali Then sings with his amazing voice Karan johar said in his interview when he was singing it was like he was going to break down the studio walls with his powerful and emotional voice and that’s right it is very powerful and emotional When Ali starts singing this is what you hear first

“mere mann ye bata de tu kis or chala hai tu kya paya nahi tune kya dhundh raha hai tu jo hai ankahee jo hai ansuni woh baat kya hai bata mitwa kahe dhadkan hain tujhse pyar

mitwa yeh khud se toh na tu chhupa”

But the most amazing lyrics in this is I have heard in ages by saying this lyrics is not meaningful is just down right wrong

“teri nigaahen par tu yeh soche jaaun na jaaunyeh zindagi jo hai naachti tohkyon bediyon mein hai tere paanvpreet ki dhun par naach le paagaludta agar hai udne de aanchalkaahe koi apne ko aaise tarsaayejo hai ankahee jo hai ansuniwoh baat kya hai bata” A total amazing track with great music,

great singing and great lyrics 3 out of 3 what more can you ask?

Overall 10/10

Tumhi Dekho Na

The theme of KANK with the piano is basically this song they sing over this song, what I like the most about the song is the music, otherwise another normal romantic number a very good one too. It does get a little boring but so does a lot of love songs. The music is the soul of this track, the lyrics are impressive but the music and soft background music grabs you straight away. Both Sonu and Alka sing very good, but Alka wins this track hands down her voice is so simple and sweet in this track,

Overall 8.5/10

Rock And Roll Soniye

Time to get your party boots on for Rock and Roll Soniye a total dance number and it totally works, with a little bit of jazz, the only thing is at the end it does get a bit cheesy. The music is used well the English lyrics are okay, this is a typical Karan Johar number in other words if you liked “Pretty women” then you will like this song But there will be also a lot of people that will totally hate this track as they did with pretty women expect some negative comments on this song, personally I loved it a touch of Pretty women and “Gore Gore” from Main Ho Na When they say Rock And Roll Soniye with the hard Dhol Beats it really catches you.

Overall 8/10

Wheres the party at?

Another dancing song, when I first heard the title of the song it seemed very crappy but after hearing it, I found out it is not actually that bad at all, Shaan does great on this song man I love his voice. I am thinking this song will be on Rani And Abhi, I can not See SRK dancing to this song. The English lyrics are okay, but overall if you like “It’s the time to disco” then you will like this song, also as Rock N Roll Soniye People will also Bash this song to bits.

Overall 7.5/10

Final Verdict

A fun album with fast dance songs, a few romantic tracks and a Pakistani pop song a mixed bag of fun in this album something for everyone an album worth listening to especially if you love good lyrics and meaningful songs “Mitwa” and “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna title track” is worth a listening to.
