Another successful film from Yash Raj Production

Kabul Express is made by documentary film maker turned feature film maker Kabir Khan made for Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra.

Kabul Express is set in Afghanistan.John Abrahim and Arshad Varshi played television reporter. There is also an American actress Linda Arsenio who is another journalist and there is an Afghan guide Hanif Humghum who is from Pakistan who joins Taliban but he is now running to go to his country.

This film has a running time of just 1hour 45minutes.The best part is this that it doesn’t stick to the standard formula of two and the half hour film because it is such a short film that it doesn’t boar.In middle somewhere slow movements come but overall it is an entertaining film. And If you are thinking this is a documentary  you are wrong. It is not a documentary film.It is quite a commercial film with very good dialogues by Sandeep Shrivastava and Kabir Khan.

Arshad Varshi’s performance in this film is very good.He is such a fine actor and he has done fullest justice to his role.

After Babul, it was doubted that whether John Abrahim knows acting or not but in this film he has done good job.His looks very very good and dashing and ladies audience are going to love him for that.

And the Afghanistani actor and Pakistani actor Hanif Humghum and Salman Shahid work is so good that you are happy that an indian actor has not done their role.

Linda Arsenio is reasonable good with what she is required to do.

Kabir Khan’s direction is very good.He has stuck to the story and he has not narrated the story in the form of documentary. He has made a awesome entertainer. This film is for class audience but there is so much for them that film which is made for about 3.5-4 crore budget, this much money will be fullfilled from big cities multiplexes.Money which will come from rest of the multiplexes is the profit. That means  this is yet another profitable film from Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra.

*VERDICT- ABOVE AVERAGE
