This serial which has been on air for sooo many weeks, months and years now, and has become almost an addiction to many our loved ones and family members is yet another case of producers making people realize that there is so much unhappiness around when what a person should ideally experience is ’entertainment’.
’’Kahani Ghar Ghar ki’’ has been revolving around this joint family, which has two main women leads ’good’ and ’bad’ namely ’Paarvati’ n ’Pallavi’. The opeara has been going astray so many times, but the constant effort to create some suspense at the end of each episode leaves the viewer in a state of ’unease’ which transforms in a Switch ON the next day..
Its like a ’charkavhu’, once gone in can’t come out.. n everyday get involved in it more n more. Frankly speaking, we as sensible individuals, do we really need to see someone crying (in this case the character ’Paarvati’) all the time?? Infact, most of the serials nowadays have the same theme of ’’Good’’ & ’’Evil’’ women characters packaged in different wrappers, which ideally ain’t adding anything to the lives of the public. The only good about the boom in the television arena is the employment it generates for so many people. But then, day in and day out ’good talent’ which can be used for better use is wasted on such kind of never-ending melodramas, which do influence the general public and their behavior in their personal lives, and not necessarily on a positive side.
Only if the people who are experts in the field realise that they have one of the strongest weapon in their hand(the power of media) and put it to better use. Finally we as corporate are not here just to review our TRP’s everyday and see whether our stocks are on rise or not, right?
There is a grave need to acknowledge that ’’we all spend hectic lives n end of the day, we open our television sets for some ’’Good Entertainment’’, which presently has been shadowed by the so-called award-winning, un-happening set of serials, this one topping the charts!!’’
