So we have all been waiting for the big hit Kal Ho Na Ho...Just released in the United States last week and got a chance to see it. Love the movie and it was a blast. Full house I can say for all the theaters that was playing and there was certainly not just one...Let us begin with the music...How can I explain what I feel about the music...Can I say it was Jaw Dropping or can I say that I am going to scratch the cd because I keep playing it...you know it is time to Disco..:)...Music gave a range of genre from trendy/hip ....to mellow ...Next, the location...you know Queens...perfect setting with the occasional scenes in Times Square...gives a glimpse of reality of what homes in the United States are like and the rumble jumble that is faced in the city...it is okay ..we all like that kind of idea to walk to always two steps ahead...
The story was similar to ones in the past but had a nicer way of portraying and I am not saying it because of SRK..I truly enjoyed this story...it was comical and sad and just so not typical...For instance, women in this movie are made out to be independent smart and beautiful ...all in one...Preity doing her MBA...that was a definetly something new and positive...
Now the actors and actresses.....i feel all of them did a sensational job...especially Preity and SRK. ...Just listening to their dialogues you can just feel the anguish and the hint of melancholy in their respective scenes...you can feel the chemistry between them two...it was either that or I was paying too much attention...the first one sounds better....Saif Ali did a great job as well..he is such a jokester though...even when he is serious I can;t see the seriousness in him...buit that is okay we like him the way he is....Jaya Bachan...amazing woman...she is a mother, she is owner, she is a friend...what more can you ask for...
