Today I wish to share my review on the movie named kalavaadiya pozhudhugal released on 29th December 2017 directed by thangar bachan through Ayngaram Internationals.
If we see the story of this movie, hero prabhudeva is a taxi driver. For a savari ride he goes to karnataka state and while returning back he sees an accident at highway. On that accident, at a very critical stage prakash raj was fallen then prabhudeva takes and admits him to a hospital and informs to his family. A rich status prakashraj wife comes to see prakashraj at hospital. After coming when prabhudeva sees her, he gets a big shock bacause prakash raj wife is prabhudeva’s x-lover. After this what happens is the entire story of this movie.
Morning acctually when I said to my friends that I am going to this movie. They all said please dont go because its 7 to 8 years pending delayed release movie but according to me no matter of old or new movie where as qualified movie or disqualified movie only these criteria’s are important for me. Actually I am big fan of director thangar bachan because he always takes a movie involving our home culture with our soils pleasant bliss. So my expectations was lot on his movie but after watching this movie then only I realised it is a very bleak movie.
This movie is actually Sarugugal short script written by same thangar bachan which is taken as a movie.
A novel or short script conversion to a movie is not a small thing. Its really a big deal. It should have different tactice experience to deal it. Already he wrote and directed ammavin kaipesi movie in the same manner which was an utter flop. Now, again this sarugugal short script, I think we must tell him he has no cabability to convert shortscript into a movie because of the main reasons though the story is strong but the character involved mainly hero playing what character is really unpredictable whether he is a genuine person or he is a decision less person or he is a creepy type person we cant understand it. The characters are not at all strongly structurized. Same they did with the character of heroine as well.
After that if we see there are several scene’s which looks like a stage drama. Especially when prakashraj stands in front of door and says whether he will not come to see me ? Why he will not see me ? Like this a 10 minutes dialogue he is talking which while seeing actually we must feel courage but whole screen including me as an audiance was laughing. After that in a scene he tells he is MD from tomorrow onwards that scene was too funny like this the whole movie has lots of bleak mokka scenes. So while watching, I felt no entertainment.
In tamil cinema last movie taken in photo film is the movie named I but this movie was taken before I movie but released now only. Photo film movie I was really detailed vision but this movie is not at all watchable.
Overall, movies like Azhagi, Solla marandha kadhai such a great hit movies has been given by director thangar bachan but I dont know how he took suck a discouraging movie to all his audiance like me.
