It’s a saying in soccer that ’’Champions start early’’ and I feel one can say this in every sphere of life.....!!! Some guys can do it in the age of 10 and some take years to do that...Kalyug is nice example of one’s learning right from the start. Here I am talking of Kunal Khemu and take my word for this that this guy is here to stay .. I reckon this ..!!
Well you must be aware of the story but let s have a look on the same. Story is a much familiar con of today’s world ...... which is proliferating like a plague. Porn Industry and the people doing the same. Kunal n her wife become a victim of the same and his wife died of the same. Kunal then battles back for his revenge. Story I feel is having no flaws as such ...... apart from some emotional one’s which could have been done much better.
Kunal has not only acted well but also u can spot him in making a scene looks easy for some of the co-stars like his wife and Annie. Look at his screen presence....there is one guy out there who is not smoking ....not even drinkin..... he is calm in voice.. talks with essence and goodness me what a presence he is having. Voice is one part where he can improve a lot. All is done well by kunal and my 100 dollars for him.
Amrita singh is back and I think she wants to make a point by choosing this kind of a role. She is well on the negative shade and I feel that has gone well with her kind of personality. Her daughter, most people will say hasn’t done well but I ll second that opinion..... that role needs a kind of innocence ....infact stupidity...!! Well done these two.
Imaran Haashmi....now he is a veteran but when for god sake he is going to learn the thing called acting. If you remember my words in the start of this review then you can relate that some people take too much time to learn. Only one scene he has shown the maturity of a 8-9 films old. I hope he gets better than this.
Ashutosh Rana needs no comments as he knows well what it takes to perform a role like that. His role this time was not Pshycotic but well done by him. Annie performed well until she changed her mind towards Kunal.
Direction has gone all well but one thing I must say that Why Annie turned to Kunal in the end like she is in love with her...Ohhh man gimme a break ..... please stop this typical sentimental, emotional stuff. I mean there is life for both Kunal and Annie after all is over. This is a real flaw.
Rest all is fine with the movie, songs like ’’Judaa hoke bhi’’, ’’Jiya dhadak dhadak jaye’’ are just adding to the fame.
A good watch in the end I must say.
