I stayed in this hotel for 12 days, hence this review.
Kamat Lingapur Hotel is located relatively nearer to Hyderabad airport, on SP road near to Shopper Stop. The 3 star hotel with 5 floors is relatively economic and value for money hotel in its segment.
The hotel is Owned and operated by Bengre Kamat Group, originating from Hubli, Karnataka. The hotel restaurant serves excellent sounth indian breakfast and meals and a reasonable price.
Hotel staff are friendly and responsive. Laundry, room service and reception met my expectations.
Tariff as on July 2006:
Single Standard Room: 2000(INR)
Double Standard Room: 2500(INR)
Single Executive Room: 2700(INR)
Double Executive Room: 3200(INR)
Complementary breakfast.
5% Taxes applicable on the above Tariff.
A few cons you might wish to keep in mind:
No floor carpet in standard rooms- It’ll be too cold to walk bare foot in the room.
Very very limited north Indian dishes in the menu
No swimming pool
12 Noon to 12 Noon timings-Not flexible to 24 hours from check in time
No complementary gift/discount for long stay
No balcony
Safe lockers are available with reception only and not in standard rooms
I got the reservation done by my company. But before that, I casually requested a quote from a website in internet (I don’t remember its name now) for thsi hotel, wherein I was quoted 40% higher rate. So my advice is contact the hotel directly for booking, lest you may end up paying more.
