Kanchipuram is very famous for silk sarees. Kanchi temple is famous for its Golden and Silver lizards which are inside the temple. There is a belief that, if we touch those lizards we get everything good in our lives. And there are nearly 1000 Temples in Kanchipuram. Kanchi pattu sarees were woven here only. Kanchi pattu sarees are very cheep here. There so many places to visit like Kamakshi temple, Subhramanya swamy temple, vykunta perumal temple, Varada raja Temple, Kanchi kama koti peetham and so on. We need to stay more days to visit all the temples and places in Kancipuram. We stayed for 4 days. And we visited only some places. Here I found food and hotels are not that much good. We need to go very far for good hotels. Safety wise everywhere it is secured with police and cc cameras.
