Th title truly and aptly describes th feelin one gets upon watchin th movie. You start liking th movie so much n you wonder why havent you watched it earlier?! well, that was th case for me, th movie was released by Duet Movies(one of th few banners that continue churning out Beautiful movies) in 2005 and I watched it today~ after a good 4 years gap~sigh.
The actors in the movie have brilliantly performed~ a norm for al Duet movies~ Starting with Prasanna- he looks cute and his pronounciation is brilliant~a relief after al these north/east/west/non-indian imports. And laila~ I wonder why she’s stopped acting. As Prasanna says in th movie’china doll kanne, siricha kannathele kuzhi vizhum’~ she is very very cute esp when she smiles or when she’s madly mad wif prasanna. and Karthick one of th under rated actors in Tamil movies~ I hope he gets his break soon, he excels in his limited role~
P.C.Sriram’s cinematography goes WOW! Another reason I wish I had watched this movie in th Cinema instead. every Burst of light and darkness captured so brilliantly, its not a surprise why maniretnam never lets go of him!
About th plot~ its nothing path breaking but th treatment given to th storyline is beautiful~ and watchin this movie among th idiotic movies released for th 2009 new year~ is a breath of fresh air! Its about Prasanna n Laila who fought as they were kids and grew up again to hate each other. A series of misunderstanding makes them hate each other even more. In comes Karthikumar~who’s supposed to marry Laila~ andOut he goes again as he decided~heck no! she doesnt wana go against me so I wont marry her~ and its now up to Prasanna N Laila to break th news~ series of events follow and that forms th storyline~ a happy ending incuded for movie goers like ME:)
What is exciting bout Kanda naal mudhal is th lack of a secondary comedy track and th lack of an item song and th lack of vulgar dialogues and th lack of lack of clothings! Duet Movies should be applauded for giving us a clean entertainment~ and this is a lesson to all th half baked movie makers out there~ you can make a decent entertainer without al th above forementioned~ th makers of villu and silambattam~2009 line up of movies~ should take note~
Most of the songs very beautiful and yuvan shankar raaja is proving th tamil proverb to be true pulikke porenthathu punai aaguma? My personal favourites are:

To all those who havent watched th movie YET~ try renting a VCD or pray hard for th cable tv wala’s to screen it! its worth 10 times more than th vulgar new movies~ and to those who do not understand tamil~ watch th movie with subtitles~ and laila’s expressions will help you understand pretty much of th others:)
and Prasanna’s outburst in th airport~ it even made me fall for him!~ any1 out thr, please help me and tell him im in love wid him! NOW:)

and th lack of Non-sense characters~ and amateurish actors really put th movie a step ahead~ be it prasanna’s sister~ I dont know her name~ only know her as valliammai from chitti~ or revathi or lakshmi, they help you get into th movie with their seemingly effortless acting. And a plea to al directors~ we the tamil movie fans arent that dumb so please pull up your socks! and stop bringing in glam dolls!
