I bought this phone in may 2013 amidst a lot of apprehension. Karbonn is hardly a reliable name in the smartphone market and also the cost oh this phone will also cast a shadow of doubt over the actual quality of the product.
But I have been a satisfied user of this phone so far, the touch-screen is quite responsive and screen is quite detailed. I usually use the phone to surf the web and use a few apps.
This phone satisfies your expectation in both these aspects, zooming in and out of webpages and loading the apps is quite quick. The camera quality of the phone leaves a lot to be desired. Instead of a sharp, crisp image, the 8mp cam delivers a large 8 megapixel image which blurs on zooming in.
Images in night-light aren’t upto the mark. Music volume although not very loud is decent. In spite of boasting a 2000 mah battery, the battery-life also falls short of expectations.
I haven’t had any complaints about the hardware and the usage of the phone, so haven’t had any experience dealing with the Karbonn service department. If you have a modest budget and still want to experience a high-end android phone boasting android v4.2 jellybean, you have my thumbs up for this phone.
It is not the best in the market but at it’s price it is a very good investment!
