A decent joint in the Andher-/Oshiwara belt, right opposite the Mall where you have a line of decent restaurants like Luckys Biryani, Marhaba etc.
This place has good service and serves Mughlai food. At the outset let me tell you, this joint has no relation to the much more famous Kareems of Delhi. The food was strictly ok, nothing exceptional (whats with the restaurants in the burbs? They can never beat town restaurants in taste!) but the service was awesome. The waiters literally wait on you! We had rotis/naans with a couple of chicken dishes.
The naans seemed bored and thin, the chicken was stock I think, which was mixed with the various curries prepared (notice how you get a boiled after taste if you happen to eat one). The damage was Rs500 for just rotis and curries, so not entirely inexpensive. All in all, an ok place for a takeaway or an occasional meal but it really did not inspire me. For mughlai there are better options in Persian Durbar (Byculla & Bandra), Delhi Durbar (Colaba & Grant Road) and even Luckys Bandra.
