Karnam Malleshwari, a descendent from a poor Andra family had now raised our Mother-INDIA to stand at a top among the competitive world. Thus is the first Indian women to get the medal in the Olympics. She lost her II place at the edge of the event.
We are proud of saying it and Our Mother too is proud of her. Ofcourse! Malleshwari can also be called as yet another iron lady of India. Isn’t apt ?
