I had a pathetic experience related to activation of debit card. I received a new debit card, which I activated with a pin number. However, I was not able to withdraw cash. On calling the customer care they said the account is dormant. This was a pathetic response as I had just updated my passbook and there were transactions as recent as 7 days. The customer care sent me to the branch. The branch said that the account is active and there were no issues. I tried again and faced the same issue. I repeated the process of calling the customer service and recieved the same response to go to the branch. I went to the branch again and got the same response. This whole process was done atleast thrice not counting the number of different ATMs I visited. After N number of calls and visits, the branch tells me I need to do my kyc. Kyc was done before but not updated.
Overall my experience was horrendous and really unpleasant.
