Completely unexpected and horrible service from an established name like Karvy .
One of my friends recommended Karvy to me and I started a basic financial investment and was quite satisfied with the service. Encouraged by the positive experience with the company and my RM, I subscribed to a paid fee based Comprehensive Financial Planning.That was the beginning of my woes. The same RM suddenly became too busy to attend my calls to seek updates .
Forget regular updates, they only came after repeated calls(seldom less than 3) and days of waiting and even then were full of errors. And to think that I had applied for the service because I was busy and was not finding enough time to make timely investments.
My plan came in approx.45 days, 5 SIPs took more than a month to set up. In March, I am still waiting for an update. The quarterly review, promised during the offering, is FAR away.
What is most astounding is that I have written to the Head-HNI Services hoping for a resolution(there is no customer service contact or no. on the website) and while he wrote back saying that he will look into the matter, that was the last I heard from him.If you are looking for a Wealth Mgmt OR PMS Or financial planning or any related product - KARVY is one place where NOT to take it from.I would really like to know how can a company, which is charging fees upwards of 10K) be allowed to carry on business like this.I have mail trails of all my interactions with this company as proof of every word I have written - it is not about money, businesses should not be allowed to take customers for a ride.
