I had an account with the Panchkula branch. Left Stocks worth 12k in the Pool account and then couldn’t check the account periodically as I was away for job. After 1 year when I went to them for transferring my stocks to my DP account, they told me that I have been trading for last many months and to compensate for the trading loss, they sold my stocks.
Lessons learned - If you want to trade equities, open an online account and never allow trading to any agent on your behalf. Periodically verify the account statement. As soon as they feel that you are not monitoring your account, they all do false tradings to make the brokerage and their commissions.
