Three sisters shifting from Mount Abu to Mumbai on the death of their parents, reach Jai Walia’s place. He is responsible for the death of their mother. The second sister runs away from the marriage hall and it is left to the elder siser to marry Jai(how stupid, as if bride exchange is a simple thing.Dont they think of consequences?). The love-hate relationship between Jai and his wife takes up most of the time. When he falls in love with her, she learns of his ’killing’ her mother and hates him. When she begins to love him, her own sister, now fed up of her marriage turns to Jai and enmeshes him in her wiles. Its sickening. Piya’s obssession for Jai reflects in her eyes, her face, her behaviour but no one sees it. Bani keeps on pushing Piya to Jai saying that she listens only to him. Doesnt Bani see his stricken looks, his guilty feelings and doesnt she see her sister making eyes at him? Is she blind?
Then there is the sister who is evil to one of her daughters-in-law, who poor thing, is disliked by her husband, though God knows why he volunteered to marry her in the first place(to save the family name, my foot). Overdressed, over made up and over emotional, this sister of Jai makes Bani’s life miserable.
So many attempts on Jai Walia’s life, but no one s bothered. They do not complain to the police nor do they try to find out what has happened and why he is being made the target.
The serial started somewhat with interest is now boring and stupid.
